This was a lovely project I've just finished for some clients. Such a pleasure to paint beautiful pieces of furniture, and breath new life into something so old and full of character.
A little bit of gold goes a long way, distressed and waxed it just lifts those lovely shaped details.
I added a simple stencil, lightly raised with a broken finish to balance the strong shapes in the design.
